The First 24 Hours

You are officially a MAMA. The sweetest, fastest, most vulnerable 24 hours of your life (if you ask me). 24 hours filled with endless love you never knew you had inside of you.

Congrats Mama, you TRULY are amazing.

YOU DID IT, be proud. Soak in every single newborn scent, snuggle, hiccup, burp, cry… and poop, it goes by in the blink of an eye. Having your first child is unlike what everyone ever told you. You had to do it for yourself to fully understand. You life has changed, in the best way possible.

Suddenly, in what seems like the blink of an eye, you are truly someones everything. That is a HUGE role to fill, but don’t worry, you were made for this. You truly are the best mom for your little one. Even though you have no idea what you’re doing yet, trust me, you got this. Everyday that goes by from this moment on, you will understand and think back to this time in your life. Cherish it.

But for now, in these first 24 hours, soak it in with your new mom bliss. You deserve this. This is YOUR moment. Cherish every little thing about your new baby. They will never be as little as they are right now in this exact moment. Their little hands, feet, toes, and nose. Tomorrow is a new day and they will somehow look bigger by then.

Nothing beats the first 24 hours.
